Practicing for the Day I Actually Have Money

I recently got into an online game of sorts that allows you to trade virtual money in the real stock market. MyWallSt.net is hosting a Rookie challenge, were people like me, who don’t have any real money to invest in the stock market, play our wits and try to earn the most. Its completely free to register and participate, and all you need in a connection to their website. They are even giving away real money to the winners, a cool $1,000. So perhaps one day soon I might just have a little money to invest in the stock market. (more…)


In Search of a Laptop

I currently own a laptop, but it is an older one, something I use for work, and it doesn’t work for many of the bigger applications I need to run. The time has come to get a new laptop. The problem is that finding the right one is going to be a challenge, and I don’t want to be ripped off. I figured I could save a little buying it off a site like eBay. But eBay can be more expensive in some cases, and it is hard to compare what you find on eBay with other websites. Luckily, I found a new online tool call Auction Shark.
