Sometimes movies try to take an idea way to far, creating a Hollywood love story out of a cult Internet following, and not giving us enough of what we came for, which was strange deaths. We read The Darwin Awards to laugh at some of the darkest stories we can laugh at, and the movie failed to give us enough.

I have yet to see the movie, but if they put as much effort into the actual movie as they did in advertising it, then it should be fantastic. This “lost commercial” featuring Dewey Cox is a short goody. Who can’t love a Cox sausage, especially when it comes from the Cox Smoker.

Transformers have always been in the dreams of many cartoon fans of all ages. Take normal everyday items like tanks and cars and turn them into gigantic evil fighting robots and you have yourself a story thats easy to love. The release of the newest Transformers movie tries to combine the old school cartoon with the modern glamor and bang of movies like Independence Day. While it is filled with action that never ends, it also lacks character credibility and has a story line that doesn’t really take you anywhere.

TV-Links, a favorite site for many college students and entertainment junkies, faced the cold sword of the Federation Against Copyright Theft last week. The site was shut down for providing links to many Hollywood films and TV shows hosted on sites like YouTube and Megavideo. The 26 year old owner was arrested after a police raid, and the site along with mirrors of the site were taken down without notice. Even with the unjustified shut down, many other internet websites have appeared trying to grab a portion of the massive audience looking for a replacement.

The Price is Right isn’t my kind of show. I mean, I could never sit and watch an episode on TV for the sheer pleasure of it. However, it is a great show for special moments, when happen often. Thanks to YouTube (and many other online video sites), all of us who don’t like the show can enjoy the great parts, something everyone should see. This morning I woke up and found a thousand Myspace bulletins all excited about the new season of Heros that premiers tonight. Its that time of year again, when all the TV shows have new seasons, and all your friends become television zombies. Of course watching the shows claiming that it is for educational purposes so you can write reviews on your website isn’t really any better. In fact, it is pretty sever denial, which can be unhealthy. So, without further adieu I shed the denial to scream.

Usually the idea of a high school comedy makes me sick to my stomach. In fact, just for suggesting we go see said high school comedy makes me lose a lot of respect for you. But, I really love Arrested Development. When the show tanked, I had to go to the mental hospital for a couple weeks. I was having a little trouble finding purpose. Anyways, since George Micheal from Arrested Development was in the movie, who I love, and the other fat kid, who I also love, I figured I could take the pretentious shoes off for a second, go drink some beer, and enjoy a movie.

Trailer Park Boys was out long before I ever got addicted to it, but when I Finally found it I lost an entire week. I haven’t seen a comedy this unique and entertaining in a very long time, and so I felt the need to figure out what it is exactly that makes the whole thing so fantastic. All I ended up with is a short list of reasons to live, which is important I suppose, that I learned from the Trailer Park Boys.
