I Love Bacon

It makes my life better

You would not believe how much I love bacon. It has to be one of my most favorite foods in the world. Francis Bacon, now that guy was lucky. Not only was he born into a position of great privilege, the sixth son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, Keeper of the Great Seal for Elizabeth I, but he also had bacon in his name! Bacon has a profound impact on the world, and makes all of our lives better. (more…)

A Tribute to Shanks

I remember a time in my life when things were very stretched, and resources thin. Everyone was cramped up and we all learned a whole new meaning to the word share. Even the floor of that one room efficiency had warm bodies, most of the time a homeless man’s dog name Shanks. (more…)
