Brushing Teeth New Cool Thing To Do

by: Levi Blackman

Toothpaste Industry is excited about the upcoming trend

According to local sources it is once again cool to brush your teeth. In fact, our studies show that if you are not brushing your teeth at least once a day, you are now considered uncool and will be cast away from many social circles. The toothpaste industry is excited about this new trend, and expects sales to skyrocket.

The Rise of a New Brushing Era

The most popular girls at a local school are hard hit by the new trend. It is putting stress on their wallets and taking time away from more important things like studying and talking on the phone.

“So this new trend comes around and I didn’t buy it at first,” Lacy McUnder, a local student and cheerleader. “But my friends started hanging out with this new girl that brushed her teeth all the time. She even brought a toothbrush to school.”

Soon the pressure to be cool became to much and McUnder had to give in.

“I saved a few dollars out of my lunch money and bought the most expensive toothpaste I could find.” Mcunder said. “It is crazy, I brush my teeth at least twice a day if not more. I do admit my teeth do feel better and I love that smooth feeling I get. I don’t know though, it takes so much time out of my busy schedule.”

Many local parents are worried that their children will develop unhealthy habits, and no longer be able to concentrate on living a good life because they are so taken over by their fads and fashion. A local PTA leader tried to calm the nerves of many parents by giving a speech last night at an emergency meeting.

In his speech he said, “This is just a fad, and it will all end soon. When the kids realize that this expensive habit takes away from all that they used to enjoy, they will fall in line.”

Candy intake among young people also has increased dramatically, but experts attribute that to the fact that most people have girlfriends now, and use candy as a way to keep the relationship stable.

“I personally think the candy trend is happening because people have clean teeth, and they think all that candy can do no harm,” Candy storeowner Sue Blue said. “They are right! Candy is great! Eat all you want, you are going to brush soon anyways!”
