- Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk are simply innovators. These german computer musicians are hard to take seriously — which is surprising because when you see them you will realize that these guys take themselves REALLY seriously — which is surprising because they have songs with lyrics such as —

She’s a model and she’s looking good
I’d like to take her home that’s understood
She plays hard to get, she smiles from time to time
It only takes a camera to change her mind

She’s going out tonight, loves drinking just champagne
And she has been checking nearly all the men
She’s playing her game and you can hear them say
She is looking good, for beauty we will pay

She’s posing for consumer products now and then
For every camera she gives the best she can
I saw her on the cover of a magazine
Now she’s a big success, I want to meet her again”

but from what I hear, and from what I anticipate, it’s a show worth seeing. If my dad speaks highly of Kraftwerk, and Coachella speaks highly of Kraftwerk… it probably sucks… but these guys are the germans to thank for all things evil with electronic music. All that shit you secretly love but won’t tell anybody about.

- Sasha and Digweed. Almost everything I said about Kraftwerk applies to this band also, minus the whole innovative thing. Everything I said about kids listening to Portishead, and everything I said they took… double the consumption for perfected listening to Sasha and Digweed. The fagdaddies* of trance music, these guys are pretty reknown for their live show.

*i love gay people.

- Dwight Yoakam. BADASS FUCKING GUITAR PLAYER. I anticipate this for the sole reason that I can lay back and pretend I’m at Bonnaroo for a second. What a badass this guy is.
