The Great Move of 2006 is Upon Us!
It has been over a year since we moved into the house now known as “The CricketSoda House,” and after making our mark on the area it is time for us to pack up and move base. It has been a good year, filled with many great things, grand improvements, and more success that we have ever experienced.

No longer will 1029 be home
But I can tell it is time to go. Sometimes after being in one place for awhile you just become tired with all the advantages you once saw in the house. Living so close to Fry Street is fun, but so is getting more sleep because you don’t have drunks banging on your windows wanting you to wake up and entertain their drunken ass.
Tomorrow we go to look at a possible new house. Rumor has it that the house used to be the old Delta Lodge house, but other rumor suggest that they only lived there for a short time while their new place was being built, and so they couldn’t have done that much damage. We will just have to see when we get there.
The lessons learned in this house are too many to count. We are all now experts on what to look for when renting an older house. All the problems that could come up have come up with this house, and we have a long list of precautions we are going to take before we try to take on the endeavor of living in a house.
We have all learned a lot about living with a large group of people. Another advantage of moving is that it will just be the core group, Brandon, Levi, Michelle, and Caleb, all moving and living together. We all seem to be able to stay out of each others way, and get along pretty well. The good karma of the group is valuable to all of us, and it’s something we really want to keep.
The house looks nice, and has what appears to be a stable roof (something we have learned to live without). It is right on Carroll Street so we have a nice chance for a lot of free advertising, and great videos. Wow, a new scene for our videos, just when we need it as our ideas for our front yard are running low.
From looking through the windows the inside looks like a unique paradise. A huge living room, polished brick floors in some rooms, and enough room for us to be comfortable. It has an overall rustic look to it, making living feel more like an adventure, and giving us something we can be uniquely proud to call home.
Plus, it will be close to other members of the CricketSoda crew. Could the future hold CricketSoda meetings filled with productivity?!?
Let tomorrow go well, and let our new home be everything we hope it will be.
Also, I am sorry about the lack of updates. It takes my full concentration to work on CricketSoda because I want it to be nothing but the best, and right now my head is somewhere else.
Oh, and since I am slow at posting this, tomorrow is today, and it all went well. The only thing in our way at this point is the weekend and a little paper work. Expect a badass overview of the new place.
