Everything You Want in a Chicken Sandwich

ChickenThese days every restaurant and fast food joint has a selection of chicken sandwiches. From grilled to basic and fried, you can get all types of chicken sandwiches to please your fancy. The problem is, these sandwich creators don’t have the experience with chicken sandwiches needed to truly create what you are looking for.

Now, you may think you have a certain chicken sandwich you actually like, but don’t sell yourself short. CricketSoda has made videos about this kind of stuff, and we know how to put together the ultimate of all chicken sandwiches. We can been to Chicken Sandwich boot camp, and have a secret chef that showed us the way of the sandwich, and help us find the chicken zen.

And now for the first time ever CricketSoda proudly presents a tutorial on how to build this amazing sandwich. People of the world suffer no longer, and enjoy the sandwich of your dreams!

First, take two chicken strips. I suggest getting higher quality breaded chicken strips. I use the frozen Tyson brand, but really most of them will work find. Bake the chicken in the oven at 450 degrees (20 minutes if frozen, 10 if not). You could also bread your own chicken and get a fresh chicken taste, especially if you don’t really like frozen chicken. But myself, I can’t tell a big difference once I get the hot sauce on there, so I take the easy route.

Once the chicken is done put some Frank’s Red Hot Sauce in a bowl. Frank’s Red Hot Sauce is the best, and honestly, if you tried to make your own, and you are really good with sauces, you would end up with something very similar. Frank has been making his sauce for a long time, and he is really good at it. Toss the chicken until the sauce has completely covered the chicken.


Next, take your bun and cover one side with butter. Set on a hot pan (medium, but careful not to burn your bun) , and place provolone cheese on the bread to melt. Once the cheese has become sticky, place your chicken on top. If you happen to work in a fancy commercial kitchen you can just use the cheese melting rack on the hot line.

Take your favorite BBQ sauce (I suggest Sweet Baby Rays) and cover the chicken in it to taste (the more the better).

Finally take another piece of provolone and set it on top to melt and create a cheese pocket. Use bacon to garnish the top of the cheese, and at the other side of your bun.

Carefully pick the sandwich up, bring it to your face, and take a bite. Notice the extreme pleasure pulsing through your body. That is THE ULTIMATE CHICKEN SANDWICH, and its awesome power.

It is not recommended that you eat this sandwich every day. Side effects included sleep, heart problems, and fatness.
