Food Makers Free From Fat Addicts

by: Levi Blackman

My dream of getting real fat off fast food and then taking Jack in the Crack to court has been smashed by congress because they passed a new bill. This “cheeseburger bill” protects food places from blame for making me fat.

Of course, I am a skinny guy, and I have no room to talk because of my lack of experience from the pain and anguish of being fat, but I think it is silly to blame someone else because they can’t stop eating junk food. It is not the food joints place to provide any type of healthy food, and shouldn’t have to if they don’t want to. The truth of the matter is health food is a big industry, and many of these places would be in their best interest to serve healthy options. The problem many nutritionists are complaining (that food places are not providing the healthy food needed for society to survive from heath attacks and strokes and such) about will take care of itself due to the rules of an open market place and supply and demand.

I heard on guy on TV talking about his lawsuit he had against McDonalds. He said that he became addicted to the food and couldn’t stop until his doctor told him he was going to die if he didn’t. He had to go to therapy to help him stop eating McDonalds and switch to something more healthy. Maybe he found out about Subway and became addicted to that instead.

The idea that you are addicted to food of any type is some what absurd. A physical addiction is one that causes withdrawal symptoms when the body is deprived of it. Food falls under this category no matter who you are. If you stop eating food, your body goes through serious withdrawal with a very high 100% fatality rate unless something is done for the addict. Your stomach begins to hurt, you start to go crazy, you would kill for food, etc., much the same way someone addicted to heroin acts in the detoxify room at your local mental hospital.

Instead of going after the food makers, maybe these people that are having issues with food should go to the doctors and nutritionist of our nation and organize some type of education push for eating right. I have never really seen anything of this nature in my area, so I know that there is a need for it. Maybe once everyone knows how to eat better they will start eating better.

They could teach exercise stuff and eating tips. How hard can it be to create a card that has a hamburger with a big X through it and a carrot with a big green check? Milkshake, big X, yummy salad, green check. See how it works?
