(satire disclaimer) Halliburton announced today that it will recall its cyberpresident model named “Bush” after lead was found in the nose and ear pieces. If you have purchased one of these defective models (congress) you are urged to return it immediately to Texas.
Experts also agree that the recall will be good for the United State global image, showing that we care about our children.
“Having a president full of lead can be dangerous.” toy expert Ron Jock Mcleeroy said. “Presidents like to hold babies, and with the high concentrations of lead in the paint used for the nose and ears (something children like to touch by the way) can seep into the children. These children are the future! We must protect them!”
Also, reports from other countries claim that the lead must be doing something to the presidents circuitry, causing the president to start wars and make everything “as difficult as possible.”
“We ask him nicely,” France said. “Just have a little compassion for the world outside you. Pff, he doesn’t listen. Its like he has lead in the ears.”
All faulty presidents will hopefully be recalled before the end of 2008. Halliburton claims this will be before any permanent damage can be done, but only time will tell.
