How to add a YouTube video to your Myspace

Hey Santa,
Adding Youtube videos to your Myspace is easy as pie, and its a great way to share your favorite videos with your friends.

Step One
Go to YouTube and find the video you want to put on your Myspace profile. On the video page look for a blank labeled Embed (its right under “Tags” and “URL”). Copy (ctrl+c) all the text in that box.

Step Two
Open up your Myspace profile and click edit. Find where you want to place the video and paste (ctrl+v) it in. Click save.

Step Three
Now go check out your profile. You should now see the Youtube video. Click play and enjoy your new “shared” video.

How come the myspace code generator seems to be leaving out the name and location when I copy and paste the code? Additionally, why does my page display “the extended network” even after I choose the omit button? Finally, last week I could omit the blog option and this week, when I changed my fonts and colors, the blog option appeared on my site even after I submitted the code. No, I am not a moron. This site worked great for a couple of weeks and now things are starting to get a bit messed up. Do you think someone is hacking into my “myspace”?

p.s. I ALWAYS copy and paste the code in its entirety on myspace…it seems as if there is something wrong with cricketsoda this week.

hmm carrie…. I am sorry. My Myspace still seems to work, and I can’t really figure out anything that might be wrong on the CricketSoda side. Perhaps you have some other code that is conflicting with the CricketSoda code.
