Due to the fact that people really don’t care what they are watching on the news as long as it is mindless are causing Journalists everywhere to just give up trying to find the hard biting stories and just report about cute things. Today’s top stories, Cousin’s Save Dog from Ocean, Pet Tigers, and Grandma Saved from Reindeer.

In fact, I wouldn’t even be writing about this, but a local newspaper set out early last month to bring the true news to the people without the bull all other media outlets try to feed you. Today, they went out of business after spending over a million dollars and only attracting 14 daily readers.

I was supposed to get the story about the Cat Stuck in the Tree of a Gay Couple, but instead, I get the waste of time and money story about a smo who cared for a second and got pushed out the door. BORING!

Not saving Gay people’s cats is exciting and worthwhile.

But since you made it this far and since my editor requires 400 words even though he only reads the first paragraph, you might actually care about the poor quality journalism has reached the past few years. No one is independent anymore? It is just to much work?

I mean, I’m like everyone else and don’t really care, but how can Fox and CNN make so much money off of people getting eaten by cats, and buses flipping over? Why don’t they report on the police state we live in, or the hidden poverty so many of us are having to go through?

I mean, grow some fucking balls. What are we going to show the journalism students of tomorrow? We have no Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein of today. We are going to have to make up people or claim that Bill O’Reilly was someone to look up to, even though he is scum of the earth trying to prove points that don’t make sense or no one cares about.

Maybe we can erase the history of Bill and rewrite it, just like we did for the Indians.

In conclusion the local newspaper went out of business even with all the hard work and life savings of one small man, but no one cared. No one will ever know his name, or the name of the newspaper. No one will ever read the real news.

We are all stuck in a endless cycle of bullshit. Stop watching the news and support something with value.
