Books that suck also rock!

(satire disclaimer) A local group of Lesbian book readers who call themselves, The Book Divers, told an outside friend, that the club helps the members find fulfillment by reading “gay” books.

“You know, gay like stupid, not like gay. We just all happen to be lesbians, and reading shitty books makes us feel smart because we can bitch about it,” the leader of the pack, Kayla Pat said. “You really should try it sometime. It is better than bumping the potatoes.”

Some of the “gay” books they have read recently are The Shining, Pride and Prejudice, The Book of Clichés, and The Hardy Boys.

“We all really have a good time,” Pat said. “During our meetings, we all talk about the worst part of the book, and how it was so horrible to read. Then we talk about how smart it made us feel, because somewhere in the world, someone really liked reading that stuff, and we are just to smart for all the junk.”

The English club, who meets across the street, changed the time of their meetings so they could make fun and yell at the lesbians. They set up chairs in the front yard and watch for the Book club to arrive. On special occasions they bring assorted fruit and vegetables to throw.

Yay for English!

“I don’t understand how someone can feel smarter by reading something and talking shit on it. I doubt any of those ladies ever wrote a single thing in their lives,” Vicky English, an avid reader and English major said. “They just spend all their time bumping and grinding and all types of horrible things. They should really think about what they are reading, and what it has meant for society. Why would they want to miss out on so much?”
