M83 to Host Online Listening Party
The French band M83 announced today on their newsletter that they will host an online listening party for their new album, Digital Shades Vol. 1, coming out September 3rd. I couldn’t get enough of them in 2005, and this new online listening party (unlike many listening parties at bars and clubs that I have missed or been late to) will be an easy, and interesting, way to promote an album.
The newsletter also promised a live online chat with M83 headman Anthony Gonzalez.
“Anthony Gonzalez from M83 would like to invite you to attend the Digital Shades online listening party which will occur on Monday, the 27th of August at 8pm Central European Time (7pm UK time, 2pm US Eastern Time).â€

Did anyone get to listen in? I missed it because of our stupid internet connection that likes to go out only when something important is going on.
