If you suffer from insomnia, like most of us, tonight is your night for a grand spectacle. The moon above will turn from its normal bright colors to a dark red brown looking dot in the sky as the earth’s shadow crosses its path. So, be out in your PJ’s at about 3:00A.M. Bring a pair of binoculars or a telescope if you have one so you can get an up close look at an event that hasn’t happened in over seven years.
Please post any pictures if you manage to get some. I will try, but my pictures always turn out horrible when it comes to the sky.
