Myspace Profile Modification Basics : Finding and Pasting Myspace Codes Found on the Web
One of the easiest ways to modify a Myspace profile is to find a pre-made code on the Internet for what you are trying to do. There are thousands of websites dedicated to providing Myspace codes for your profile. This means you can always find what you are looking for, but the process can be confusing.
So, to make it easy on you, let me explain how the whole process works. This is a beginners guide so if you have used Myspace for awhile, and have made changes to your profile, you might already know all this.
Say for example you want to change your profile into a Thanksgiving theme. First, search google for “Thanksgiving Myspace Theme,†or something like that. It can be whatever you want your profile to be. You can search Google below, or go to any of your favorite search engines.
Browse through the sites found until you find something you like. CricketSoda has this nice theme so I picked that one.

First the box with the cut and paste code. Sometimes this box may be a different color. I found mine above; see the arrow? Most sites will tell you to copy and paste this code into the About Me section of your Myspace profile.
So first, we want to select all the code in the box. Then we want to cut the code (ctrl + x).

Then we want to log into Myspace.

Then click the profile button. If you have the classic view, it will be the “edit profile†link.

Paste the code (ctrl + v) in the About Me box. Then click the save profile changes button at the top, and view your new profile. If everything worked out correctly, your profile should now have a cool new look. You can try a few different layouts if you would like. Make sure an remove all the code you pasted before you paste a new layout into your profile. Having two codes could cause some serious problems.
I hope this helped clear things up for you. Please feel free to leave me a comment if you have any questions.
