What will this mean for the Food of the Month?
Pancakes have won for the second time the food of the month. In no other time in CricketSoda history has an event like this taken place. It was thought that it would never happen; that food just couldn’t win more than once, and that once you won you got your prize and 15 minutes of fame and then you have to sit down. But today’s announcement that pancakes have won might change the way everyone looks at food of the month.

Pancakes are getting so much attention lately
“It was a hard choice, but one night Vicky made these amazing pancakes with bacon and such.” I said after picking the food of the month. “At first I was all about the bacon, but when those golden black flat fried cakes hit my lips I was won over. They were so good that I decided to overlook the “winning once” rule and declare them the food of the month. They totally deserve it.”
Concerned readers fear that his might take importance away from the food of the month, and they want to preserve the respect people have to the award.
“I think that the judges are a little bias. I mean, there are so many foods out in the world today, and so many of them taste really good.” One man off the street said. “The readers of CricketSoda are getting stuck eating and enjoying pancakes when I have a feeling the food out there is really great and we are missing out. CricketSoda is so big now they have a personal responsibility to serve the best interest of the hungry public.”
The last time pancakes were recognized was in November of 2004 where they were ranked on the level of world peace.
Other CricketSoda records broken today include longest time holding breath (pirate George is still holding his breath; he might be dead) and most times a video has been shown (go hang emo hang!).
