Even after the recent problems with lead in toys from China and higher gas prices, Santa Clause is once again promising all the young girls and boys of the world everything on their list, as long as they have been nice this year. This comes as a surprise to many experts on the subject, especially after rumors that Santa stormed out of the workshop in a cherry red rage and kicked a bucket of reindeer feed.

Clause made the announcement in a press release early this morning. According to the Elves, Santa may be making promises he can’t keep.

“We work hard for the guy and we all agree that he is legit. But you know, we only have so many hands, and in the past few years we have filled the holes with toys from China. China is out of the picture and we can’t get enough overtime.” Head Elf Rog said. “Sometimes I wonder if it is really worth the milk and cookies. I just hope the children aren’t disappointed this year.”

Clause’s press agent Ressa Wiesono told us that he was unavailable for an interview due to the busy season, but that Clause believes in his workers and their abilities.

“We have succeeded so far, and the children of the world have enjoy millions of our presents.” Wiesono said. “This year is going to be no different. A few hardships will not damper our spirits, or our goals.”

Will they be able to meet the demand? Many are waiting till Christmas morning to find out.
