It has been a long time.

CricketSoda has always been about the stickers. We love to see our name places, stuck in time and stuck on a pole or someone’s car. The users of CricketSoda have always had a liking for the stickers also, and before we knew it, the requests were coming in faster than we could afford to buy more stickers. We quickly ran out of our last batch, and it has been over a month since we have been able to get more.

All this has changed, and a large box of freshly printed stickers is on its way. Right now they are sitting in a UPS truck making its way to Denton and to our front door. These stickers are going to usher in a new era in CricketSoda history. Our outbox is full of envelopes, addressed to all parts of North America, over 40 different names and addresses waiting for stickers so they can be mailed.

To all those who have requested stickers and have waited patiently this whole time I promise you that soon you will have stickers in you hand. Don’t think I forgot you, because I didn’t, and I have already put addresses and stamps on many envelopes; one with your name.

The stickers look pretty much the same, with a few minor changes for the better. They now come complete with a thick black border, and our slogan “The Chirp Heard Around the Universe.” The font for cricketsoda.com is the same, except now the letters have been shaped so it slightly resembles a cricket. Some would say it looks more like a fish, but maybe this will help us tap into the Christian crowed waiting to deny their god.

I got an email with a UPS tracking number. As advanced and useful as tracking your package may be, I hate when they do this to me, because when it is something I am excited about, like CricketSoda stickers, I can’t help but check the status every few hours. It is hurting my productivity and my soul.

But they will be here tomorrow so we have nothing to worry about.
