Levi is Leaving for Fargo

This next Tuesday I will hop in the car with my sister and take off for Fargo, North Dakota. We are making this 26 hour journey to join a bunch of firework nuts at the PGI (pyrotechnics guild international) convention. We are going to go out in the middle of nowhere, blow up a bunch of stuff and then sleep in a tent at night.

I will be gone a week. That means CricketSoda will not be updated. That’s okay, I’m sure no one will be too upset. I really wanted to do some big update before I left. Something good that everyone could enjoy. Something to hold you guys off until I get back. But as I sit here, my mind is blank. I can’t think of a single thing that would top the cake and impress you all.

So I have decided to stay up for a couple days straight before my trip and write stories. You can read these stories from the first paragraph when I first start, to the last when the effects of delirium are starting to sink in and logical thought is impossible. I hope all of you enjoy this little going away gift I have to offer you guys.

I am also planning a big update for when I get back from Fargo. I watched the movie Fargo several times and made a to-do list while I am in Fargo. I plan to visit all the cool places to eat and hotels from the movie. Maybe even the car dealership if I can find it. I will keep a detailed diary of my adventure and make sure to take plenty of photographs and movie clips.

And of course lots of pictures of the greatest firework display in the world.

The movie gave me a weird feeling about going to Fargo. If I go and find these places in the movie, will I see the people the actors were portraying? Would I even know it was them if I did see them? This trip will be very interesting.

I will be gone from Tuesday till Sunday. I will see you guys when I get back!
